Today, internet network marketing or internet MLM for short, is the “in” thing and is starting to attract many people who once loathed the idea of calling and meeting prospects to build their network marketing business.</p>
<p>Internet network marketing is truly a dream business. Network marketing provides the leverage from other people’s efforts. The internet provides the leverage from technology. Therefore, embarking on internet network marketing will provide the twin leverage from both technology and the marketing efforts of other people.</p>
<p>With internet network marketing, it is now possible to get one’s marketing message out to potentially thousands or even millions of people. Marketing using email, forums and even articles help turn a cold market to a warm market by building relationships first before prospects say yes to an internet network marketing business opportunity. The biggest advantage is there is no need to do any more cold calling.</p>
<p>However, if you delve deeper, what it takes to really succeed at internet network marketing is not that different from the success factors of the traditional network marketing business. The seven major ingredients to success include the following:</p>
<p><strong>1) Ability to Duplicate One’s Results</strong></p>
<p>While the internet helps to remove the pain of face-to-face rejection to any internet network marketing opportunity, an internet network marketer still has to have a sales and marketing system in place which is easy for his or her internet MLM downlines to duplicate. Whether one’s internet network marketing business is able to experience explosive growth will hinge on the duplicability of the marketing system.</p>
<p><strong>2) Focus And Persistence</strong></p>
<p>With a slew of information about new, promising internet marketing and internet multi-level marketing opportunities coming onto the internet every hour, it is extremely to easy to lose focus and there is a strong tendency for any new internet network marketer to jump from one opportunity to another.</p>
<p>Just like in a traditional MLM business, it does take time and persistence for any internet MLM business to bear fruit. The only advantage of using the internet to do any network marketing is the speed and reach the internet provides. Napolean Hill’s “Think And Grow Rich” talks about the need to have the desire to be rich and successful before any turning point can occur.</p>
<p>Bob Proctor says that being rich and successful requires first and foremost a decision to be rich and successful. Basically doing nothing is also a decision.</p>
<p>According to Jack M Zufelt, goal setting and daily affirmations will come to nought without the core desire to succeed. When our core desire is absent, we can write ten goals and most likely we will only achieve one or two goals. The remaining eight goals, we will either miss or not even get started on them! This happens because we did not single out our core desire, and determine what we really want. When we have correctly isolated that core desire, we simply become juggernauts who cannot be stopped!</p>

<p>Tired of traditional network marketing methods, many network marketers are turning to internet network marketing to market their business opportunity and products. There&#8217;s a lot of hype about how easy it is to market on the internet, making internet network marketing seem like it will take minimal effort to build a network marketing business. But is it too good to be true?</p>
<p>Well, yes and no. Just as traditional network marketing methods require practice and effort to perfect, marketing on the internet does too. There is always a learning curve with anything new, and if you don&#8217;t have much technical knowledge, you will have your share of frustrations as you learn the ropes. It will take time and effort.</p>
<p>Internet network marketing is often said to be more cost effective than traditional network marketing methods, as well. You no longer have to buy hundreds of samples in the hopes that someone you give a sample to will like it enough to buy. And you can quit spending money on leads that are often not really looking for a business at all. Keep in mind, though, that in order to make money online, you have to get traffic to your website. And while there are free and low-cost ways to get traffic, they are time-consuming.<span id="more-350"></span></p>
<p>Despite the fact that it&#8217;s not as easy as all the hype might lead you to believe, internet network marketing is worth it! The major thing that makes internet network marketing different than traditional methods is that you are able to reach people who are already interested and looking for what you have to offer. While traditional network marketing methods often focus on <em>creating</em> an interest in your prospect, the prospects you generate through online marketing methods <em>already</em> have an interest&#8211;that&#8217;s why they give you their contact information&#8230;or even better, contact you!</p>
<p>Another major advantage of internet network marketing is the fact that you don&#8217;t have to leave home to do it. One of the major reasons people join a home based business opportunity is because they want to be at home! While traditional network marketing methods often require quite a bit of time away from home to do presentations and attend meetings, network marketers who market on the internet never have to leave home.</p>
<p>Network marketing has always been a business of building relationships, and internet network marketing is no different. Although your prospects may not physically meet you or hear your voice as the first method of contact, you must build a relationship with them through your correspondence. In fact, if done correctly, it is actually <em>better</em> than spending a lot of time building relationships with people in the hopes that they will join your business or purchase your products. Why? Because you are able to spend your time building relationships with people who want what you have. It does the sifting and sorting for you.</p>
<p>So back to the original question: is internet network marketing too good to be true? Well, if you&#8217;re looking for a way to make tons of money without putting in any effort, the answer is yes (network marketing in general is too good to be true if that&#8217;s what your looking for). On the other hand, if you&#8217;re willing to put in the effort to learn how to market effectively on the internet, you can reap the benefits of network marketing without participating in the things that leave a sour taste in people&#8217;s mouths when they think of network marketing!</p></div>

The traditional ways of building a network marketing business have a fundamental problem that most people aren’t able to work through. See why below…<br/><br/>Traditional Ways to Build a Network Marketing Business<br/><br/>• Make a Names List (friends, family, everyone you know)<br/><br/>• Do 3-Way Calls w/Your Upline to Try to Generate Some Interest<br/><br/>• Hand out printed materials, CDs, DVDs, conference call numbers, websites, etc…<br/><br/>• When you start getting desperate put flyers on cars<br/><br/>• When you get really desperate you start scaring total strangers by asking penetrating questions about how happy they are with their current lifestyle<br/><br/>These things can actually work, if you go through extremely large numbers to make them work. It’s a fact that I’m not disputing. But this way of building a business is really hard. I don’t know about you, but I don’t personally want to try to talk anybody into anything.<br/><br/>Question: Why do you have to do so much personal development in network marketing?<br/><br/>• Maybe you don’t want to call your entire social network to pitch a business<br/><br/>• Maybe it’s because your friends won’t talk to you anymore<br/><br/>• Maybe you don’t want to put flyers on cars<br/><br/>• Maybe you don’t like approaching total strangers, or cold calling questionable lead sources.<br/><br/>Does anyone feel like saying &#8211; “Well, Duh”! You have to become “10 foot tall and bullet proof” because the traditional ways of building a Network Marketing business are really an aggressive form of selling that no one likes. That’s why you have to motivate yourself so much.<br/><br/>The problem with traditional network marketing is that you are trying to sell to people who aren’t interested, and uplines have the nerve to call it ‘Sharing’. It takes a lot of personal development to handle all of that. That’s why you have to get training in handling objections, overcoming fear, and dealing with rejection, because you’re trying to work with people WHO ARE NOT INTERESTED!<br/><br/><br/><br/><br />
