Why Network Marketing?

Perhaps a better question to ask would be “Why Not Network Marketing?”

Of all the various types of home businesses, Network Marketing has proven itself over the years to be the leading method by which the average person can achieve above average results.

Thousands of people, just like you, join Network Marketing companies every single day. Whether you’re only looking to make a few hundred dollars extra each month or create a large residual income, Network Marketing can help you achieve your goals.

“But what exactly is Network Marketing?”

Network Marketing is a method of moving products from the manufacturer to the consumer via word of mouth advertising. Instead of the middleman (wholesaler or jobber) taking his or her cut before moving the product to the retailer, the ability to earn that money is passed directly on to you, the Network Marketing distributor.

For example, a traditional brick and mortar business model goes something like this:

Manufacturer -> Wholesaler -> Retailer -> Consumer

The manufacturer creates the product and sells it to the wholesaler/jobber who then raises the price and moves the product to the retailer. Since the retailer is in business to make a profit, he too must raise the price. Why Do You Love Your Network Marketing Business Opportunity?

ainly am a person who believes there are many different ways to make Money on the Internet today. One of the most popular right now is starting a network marketing business. Whether you are looking at starting a business of your own, or are already involved in one, here is a neat little exercise you can do to sell yourself on the value of a network marketing business opportunity.

Take out a sheet of paper and write down everything you love about your network marketing business opportunity! If you are able to come up with a lengthy list you are probably in the right network marketing business for you.

However if you are struggling to come up with multiple reasons that you love being in your network marketing business, then you may need to consider switching companies.

Here are a few things that are probably going to be on every person’s list.

1. The products are the best on the market! The key to longevity in network marketing is representing quality products that provide value at an affordable price. If you are sold on the products you representing then you are in the right network marketing business.

2. The company is fantastic. Every network marketing business opportunity is only going to be as good as the company backing it up. You should feel comfortable the company has a solid reputation and will continue to be around in the future.

3. The marketing materials are of the highest quality. Today image is everything and you need quality marketing materials to sell and sponsor with. This should include an easy to navigate website, banners and graphics, videos, audio, email messages, blog articles, and so on.

4. The compensation plan is one that allows you to make money in multiple ways. This should include paying you well for personal sales.

It also should allow you to create a residual income on the efforts of the people in your downline. Ultimately most people stay involved in a network marketing business because of the money. Therefore the compensation plan should be as good as anything on the market today.

5. You enjoy networking with your upline and with your downline. Network marketing is a business built on networking and the people you’re in business with are extremely important.

In conclusion hopefully this is five things you have on your list about why you love your network marketing business opportunity. You certainly can create a longer list and hopefully you will do so.

What Happened to Your Network Marketing Business Anyway?

So hear you are with a new business, or at least a new part – time venture. You bought into a network marketing program and you can’t wait to talk to all your friends and family about. You have sat down with your new network marketing business partners and figured out your schedule, you WILL be at every Tuesday night meeting, every Thursday training call and will recruit 2 people every week.

Then after about 4-6 months the reality sets into your networking business. Recruiting two people a week as turned into one to two a month at best. You hear the same thing over an over from your up line in your networking business. The room is filled with about 98% of existing IBO’s and where are the new prospects? The team may be growing, but your personal business, well maybe……,

So why is this? Why do these network marketing business fail at such an alarming rate? Folks its so obvious, you are going to kick yourself when I say this. The name of the game is Marketing. Do you know of ANY business that has been built by word of mouth?

You know the McDonald’s story, the inspirational story that is told in every network marketing seminar. Was McDonald’s built at somebody’s home meeting and they brought their friends, no. Was Wal-Mart, they other favorite story, built by word of mouth, no.

So why do we think we are going to build a massive business this way? Because your up line did, right. Ask them to prove it, that they actually started with their friends and family and that they are actually making what they say they are making in their network marketing business.

Network marketing is an awesome way to make residual income, let me make that very clear. Network marketing companies have a lot of great products out there. The issue is Marketing, if you don’t know how to market your product or service properly your network marketing business will fail.

Go take a trip on line and search for the truth about your company. Then look for answers, not from your company but from outside independent business people and get their opinions. Trust me there are answers to your problems, there are great marketing strategies and methods available.

Whatever you do, DO NOT QUIT! You can make your network marketing business work, you just need the correct answers, methods and strategies.
