What is Network Marketing?

December 30th, 2009

Every day, millions of people click online for a variety of reasons. From researching information to finding a date, the internet seems to offer just about everything. Work and employment has by no means taken the back burner. Thousands of people are clamoring to the internet everyday in an attempt to earn a daily income, make some money, or get financially free. And it is being proven time and time again that “there is money to be made on the internet”.

From research projects, to software engineering, the younger and eager generation is presented with a boundless array of opportunities to show off their intellectual properties. Certainly, there is no shortage of work or possibilities online since cyberspace is “virtually” limitless.

But what about investments, network marketing and the vast array of “get rich quick” schemes? Do they really work? Can you really trade in your measly $20.00 for a comfortable paycheck of $2000.00 to $5000.00 per month? The answer is “yes and no”.

Let’s take a brief moment to examine network marketing. As a network marketer, you are selling something that you already own–a membership to a website in most cases. Let’s say you pay $19.95 to become a member of company “Make You a Star Dot Com”. Your $19.95 will be payment for the product (usually information, training and marketing tools). On top of that, you have the potential of making money by “referring others” to the company “Make You a Star Dot Com”. When they join by clicking on your affiliate link, they are placed in your “downline” and you earn a fraction of their membership fee… as well as the membership fee of the people they sponsor–up to five levels deep.

Many people are of the misconception that the membership fee of $19.95 is paid for an income opportunity alone. And that they need to sit back and wait for the checks to start coming in. Of course, it wouldn’t be off the mark to say that these people were deceived into thinking so. Many network marketers do not place emphasis on the value of the product they are selling in their advertising campaigns, or what the product really is or offers. All they tout is the potential to make money just by joining. This is an impractical proposition–if everyone pays 19.95 to receive $5000.00, where does the money come from?

A typical network marketing company may offer a cutting edge training center prepared by experts aimed at making an entrepreneur out of you. It will give you all the tools, advice and information you need to run a successful business, online or off. It may include sections for example on “setting up a legal entity”, “bookkeeping and accounting”, “ecommerce and merchant tools”, “self improvement”, “real estate” etc.

And that’s just the tip of the iceberg. If you join a network marketing company, by all means, make use of what you are paying for. Go into the training center, or resources section, or back office, or whatever you call it, and max it out…get your money’s worth. The “two thousand to five thousand dollars per month” will come on the side!

In order to become a successful network marketer and earn a six figure income in the least amount of time, any “Guru” will tell you that you need to understand how to use an autoresponder programmed with a newsletter, ezine or follow up emails. It is an established fact that people tend not to buy into a program on the first pitch. So if you’re thinking of investing your precious time into this lucrative field of business, think “autoresponder, follow up messages, and subscribers”. At first, learning how to use such tools might seem like a daunting task, but like most computer technology, once you get to know it, it becomes pretty simple and transparent.

A typical network marketing company will also provide training, tools and resources on how to recruit others into the company. These may include autoresponder training, Google tutorials, web design and various other advertising strategies. However, to avoid the mass of confusion and possible wastage of money associated with first starting off in network marketing, it is best to join under a successful network marketer who will show you exactly how to copy his/her success in a no-nonsense, simple and step by step process.

5 Must-Know Keys to Attaining Wealth With Network Marketing

December 29th, 2009

Who doesn’t want wealth? I would not believe you even if you raise your hand and say “I”. Surely, all of us dream of having wealth and each of us has their own reason for wanting it.

I’ll let you in on a little secret… One fast and easy way to attain wealth is through network marketing or multilevel marketing. This is a business scheme wherein individual and independent contractors or franchisees within a parent company are compensated based on their sales of products or service that they bring into the business. In short, the better you are at dealing with people and selling products, the more likely you are to have a bigger income.

To give you some weapon in your arsenal, here are five sure-fire keys to bag huge sales and build wealth with MLM. These are five effective tips and information that will help make you a successful network marketer:

* The first important thing you need to do is identify the reason why you are a network marketer. Is it the money and the promise of wealth? Maybe you are aspiring to improve your life. If there is one crucial thing to your network marketing success, this is it. If you don’t have a reason and a goal, then you don’t have a motivation to succeed.

* A network marketing business is a coaching and interactive business. You constantly meet and talk with people from all walks of life. If you don’t like interaction with other people, you’re probably in the wrong turf and network marketing business is probably not the one for you. There’s a concept that most network marketers just can’t seem to grasp–”You do not cater to money-dispensing machines, you cater to people!”

* There’s no way you are going to convince lazy people to get out of their bunkers unless you find out what their personal motivations are. What makes people tick? What are their utmost and pressing problems? What do they want solved? Most network marketers literally bank in the amount of money a person can earn. They bombard him with message after message about how successful others have become–how they just purchased their new car, refurnished their old beach house–and promise him that he can do the same!

Just how overrated this approach can get? Your average Joe isn’t stupid. He works long hours at his job in order to provide for his family and saving enough money for future emergencies. Then here you come, barging in and promising him that he can have everything that another person has if he will just sign up to your list.

Okay, you will probably win over a few people that way but if you plan to be in network marketing business for the long-term, you need to change your tactic and do it fast.

Instead of coming on to people with the avowal of the latest and best network marketing program ever, find out their wants and needs. Ask them lots of questions.

In fact, in your first meeting with a person, it is probably much better not to mention your business upfront. Forget your network marketing persona and spend time making a new friend by building trust and inspiring confidence.

* Be organized and focused. There’s nothing quite breezy like having order in your business transactions and a sense of direction. Organization and focus are two helpful tools that will help keep your budding business from falling apart.

* Have a mindset that attracts wealth. Your personal outlook and overall view of the world can be a factor that will make most if not all of your sales. It is given in nature that people tend to warm to cheerful and sincere persons. Although it may not hurt to expend some effort persuading people and employing a little psychology, your personality and attitude towards others are the ones that turn acquaintances into customers and conversations into sales.

Have a good and rewarding network marketing experience. Happy hunting!

MLM Training – 6 Secrets To Achieve Network Marketing Success

December 24th, 2009

Network marketing, which is also known as Multi Level (MLM) or direct sales marketing, is nothing but buying and selling of products. Here, a salesperson or a network marketer tries to persuade people to join a particular business.

1. Select Wisely

A person while choosing an MLM opportunity needs to look for some important factors such as the age of the MLM company, the services and products offered, and the scope of that company.

In addition, it is necessary to know about the reliability of the organization and its management. You also need to check the structure of network marketing in that organization and its achievements as well as reputation.

Select an MLM firm by evaluating its status and growth. Many MLM companies provide convenient MLM training programs, so check this too.

2. Follow what the company teaches

You need to be eager for learning and listening to the trainers. In network marketing, the organization’s MLM veterans are trained to help a person succeed, as it ultimately benefits the company.

3. The higher-ups

Generally, people at higher positions are supportive, willing to answer queries, help in assembling a plan, are committed to the company’s success, and communicable. These people will guide a newcomer through the entire business procedure.

4. Help the newcomers

It is often seen that when a person, who is busy in recruiting other people, brings a newcomer, there is not enough time to train and teach that newcomer. Therefore, it is necessary to spend at least a month in helping, training and supporting newcomers until they are confident to work alone. In short, network marketing is actually a long-term rapport building.

5. Use the Internet as a marketing tool

Many people use the Internet to advertise new products. Thus, you can build a web site with auto responders, so that when people visit the site, the auto responders track them. This is one of the greatest key for network marketing success. Here, the only disadvantage is that when people use the Internet to spam, it becomes a real mess.

6. Take care of the business

It is necessary for a network marketer to have an accountant. This is because write-offs do occur in network marketing just as any other business. It is also important to create a support team such as lawyers, advisors, or counselors, who specialize in network marketing and its rules and regulations.

Hope these 6 tips will help you select the right opportunity and know more about how to really achieve success you always dream of.
